Cinnamon and Sugar Cream Cheese Breakfast Squares
This is a great camping breakfast recipe. My kids will snack on this until the real breakfast is ready. Great with coffee too. You can easily half this recipe for 2-4 people. The cooking time remains the same.
Ingredients
- 2 cans Pillsbury butter crescent rolls
- 16 oz brick cream cheese, softened (two 8 oz packages)
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ stick butter melted
- Cinnamon & sugar mixture Use ¼ cup sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Unroll one can crescent rolls spread out on bottom of un-greased pan.
- Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls.
- Unroll second can of crescent roll dough and lay that over the top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Brush melted butter over the top of dough and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Reduce temp by 25 degrees if you are using a dark or non-stick pan.
