  • 14.4 oz French Cut Green Beans frozen
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10 3/4 oz can)
  • 4 oz canned mushrooms drained
  • tsp pepper
  • 1 cup French fried onions for topping later

Upper Stacker Pan - Stove Top Stuffing

  • 6 oz box of Stove Top Stuffing (see instructions for doubling this)
  • ½ cup onion diced
  • ½ cup celery diced
  • cups water
  • 4 Tbsp butter

Instructions

Green Bean Casserole - Lower Stacker Pan

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together frozen green beans, half and half, mushroom soup, can of mushrooms, and pepper.
    holidaysides
  • Pour mixture into one of your stacker pans. You don't need to grease the pan. it'll be fine. Set pan aside.
  • The bottom pan doesn't hold as much as the top pan because the top pan is nestled into it. So you lose about 1 inch of cooking space in the lower pan. I used the recipe on the french fried onion package as a guide with a few adjustments.

Stove Top Stuffing - Upper Stacker Pan

  • You can definitely make your own family's favorite stuffing and cook it in the upper pan and use my directions. Totally up to you. If you choose to make your own, about 6 cups of prepared stuffing will fit in the upper pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, you can just use the same bowl you mixed the green beans in. No big deal. Add dry stuffing mix and water. This makes a 'wet' stuffing. If you like your stuffing a little less wet, reduce water by 1/4 cup. (pic of wet stuffing)
  • Also, if you choose to double the stuffing recipe, you will need two boxes of stuffing and double all ingredients as well.
  • Saute onions and celery in your butter for a couple of minutes until butter is melted. Now stir onions, celery an butter mixture into the mixing bowl with stuffing.
  • Pour your stuffing mixture into your remaining stacker pan. Top with lid.
  • Stack pans together with green beans on the bottom and stuffing on top. Place into the wire rack and secure handle.
  • Add 1 cup of water into your pressure cooker liner steel pot. Lower your stacker pans into the pot and set timer to pressure cook for 25 min and QR.
  • Top your green bean casserole with your French fried onions.
  • Once you QR, your sides will stay nice and hot in your pot until you are ready to serve your meal. I would suggest serving them within 30 minutes though to ensure quality.
