Instant Pot Rice Krispie Bars
My kids and my husband say that my rice krispie bars are the best. Well, I add an extra tablespoon of butter and only gently press them into the pan so they are so fluffy and pull apart a bit when you eat them. Who likes a rock-solid rice crispy bar? Not us. Makes a big difference.

Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter real butter nothing else will do
- 10 oz package of marshmallows 10 oz., about 40 Marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal the real deal is the best
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Turn your Instant Pot to Saute in the Low or Less setting depending on which pot you have. Right away add the butter and let it begin melting. When it's halfway melted add the marshmallows and begin to stir. Keep a close eye on the marshmallows and stir frequently.
- Once your marshmallows are fully melted add vanilla and stir to incorporate.
- Now add the cereal.
- Stir until well coated.
- While the mixture is still warm, transfer to a 9x13 pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. I also spay a small amount on my palms and then use my hands to gently press the mixture into the bottom of the pan. Then it won't stick to my hands. Remember don't smash them down super hard. This is gentle so you don't crush the rice krispies.
- Cover and set these aside at room temp for about an hour.
