Instant Pot Parma Rosa Tortellini and Sausage Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bags frozen tortellini 19 oz each bag
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic
  • 14 oz kielbasa sliced ¼-inch pieces or cooked chicken sausage
  • 1 cup heavy cream

For Topping

  • shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • For this recipe you are going to layer the ingredients and DO NOT STIR. Just let everything sit in their layers and it all cooks up just great.
  • Add to the pot in this order: broth, frozen tortellini, crushed tomatoes, sliced sausage, oregano, seasoned salt, and garlic.
  • Put lid on pot and select Pressure cook for 1 minute.
  • When the cooking is done you will do a QR or a controlled release. Carefully open your pot and stir your soup. Add the heavy cream and serve with parmesan cheese for topping.
  • Everyone loves this soup. I usually serve this with crusty garlic bread.
